Spectrum May Wrap-Up
May was an eventful month for Spectrum Health Care! Not only did we celebrate a few achievements, but we recognized and celebrated our amazing Spectrum team who work tirelessly to care for our seniors and support our community.
On May 10th we announced that Spectrum was recognized by Deloitte with our second consecutive Best Managed Companies designation. The 2022 Best Managed program award winners are amongst the best-in-class of Canadian owned and managed companies demonstrating not only sustainable growth but also fostering inclusive and collaborative workplaces. We celebrate our designation with our amazing team of home care professionals who work tirelessly to demonstrate unwavering care and compassion for our patients and their families and have been integral in building Spectrum into the hugely impactful company it is today.
We also celebrated National Nursing Week (May 9-15) with this year’s theme of #WeAnswertheCall, recognizing the many diverse roles that nurses play in a patient’s health-care journey. Joining in on this nation-wide celebration of the nursing profession, we profiled our amazing Spectrum nursing staff, sharing their profiles on our website and across our social media channels.

In recognition of National Nursing Week, our CEO, Sandra Ketchen delivered a message thanking our Spectrum nurses for their dedication and commitment to nursing excellence.
Also in May, we celebrated PSW Week (May 16-20). Our PSWs impact the lives of so many, especially our seniors, helping them to have the choice and confidence to be cared for at home. We celebrated our hard-working PSWs by sharing their quotes about what they love about their jobs on our website and across our social media channels.
