National Nursing Week 2022 Nurse Profile: Ressie
Ressie's Story
Being a community nurse allows me to see the progression or regression of my patients. It is very gratifying to know I have assisted them, whether caring for a wound or helping a dying person in their final journey.
Being in the community is challenging and rewarding. It requires a wide variety of skill sets as there are many different types of cases that we have to be prepared for. I look for opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills so I can always provide excellent care.
To see that I can help in a very personal but professional way gives me the satisfaction that overshadows any challenges I meet along the way.
