Media Release: Spectrum Health Care acquires Event Medical Staffing Inc.

(Toronto, Ontario) Wednesday, January 15, 2014.

Spectrum Health Care is pleased to announce the expansion of Spectrum Patient Services with the recent acquisition of Event Medical Staffing Inc. (also known as Transfer Team), a non-emergency patient transfer and event medical services company located in the Southern Ontario region.

Event Medical Staffing Inc. is being integrated and rebranded into Spectrum Patient Services (SPS). SPS will continue to provide non-emergency patient transfers and event medical services throughout Ontario to health care facilities, residents and businesses.

Mel Gimblett, ACP, previous owner of Event Medical Staffing Inc., has joined the Spectrum Patient Services team and will be responsible for all event business management and development.
