Spectrum welcomes Maryanne D’Arpino
We are excited to announce that Maryanne D’Arpino has joined Spectrum as our new Director of Quality, Privacy, and Client Experience. In this role, Maryanne will oversee Spectrum’s corporate governance program, ensuring a strong quality posture across our organization and with all key stakeholders.
With a background that is deeply rooted in healthcare quality and safety and a passion for improving the patient experience, Maryanne brings a wealth of expertise to Spectrum. Her experience spans both provincial and national organizations having held senior leadership roles at Health Quality Ontario, Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS), and the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (now HEC).
A proud Registered Nurse, Maryanne is a strong social advocate for healthcare quality and patient safety through her advisory and governance role with Patients for Patient Safety Canada. She is excited to continue to work closely with patients, families and caregivers and Spectrum’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) in codesigning solutions to ensure that Spectrum continues to provide the safest and highest quality care to the people we serve. As Maryanne notes, “This is where the magic happens and solutions come to life, when patients, families and caregivers are engaged as true partners in meaningful change for healthcare quality and safety”.
Welcome Maryanne!
