Zaid's Story

I have been a Spectrum Community Nurse for a great nine years. There really isn't anything comparable in healthcare and we have to be ready for all types of situations.

I love being a nurse – it is second nature. I want to help a person when they are down and going through extremely difficult circumstances. I have made great relationships throughout the years.

Healthcare doesn't take a break – people need us and rely on us. The pandemic has really brought this to the forefront. Hopefully, the lessons learned will lead to more focus on community care and healthcare in general.
