Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) pathway at Spectrum

Spectrum is committed to recruiting and training Ontario-Licensed IENs to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients and their families.

Helping internationally educated nurses (IENs) fulfill their goals to become a registered nurse in Ontario is very important to us. We understand that bridging can be challenging and many IENs have difficulty navigating the system to complete the process.

Spectrum is investing in bringing IENs to Canada and supporting them throughout their certification journey. This includes providing them with housing, employment, financial incentives, training and mentorship.

To help IENs in their bridging journey, Spectrum has partnered with CARE Centre for Internationally Educated Nurses. We are providing our IEN employees with a CARE membership free of charge.
