Spectrum Health Care Acquires Quebec-Based Home Care Provider, Amika
Spectrum Health Care, a leader and an innovator in home health care, is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Amika, a Montreal-based home care company offering personal support services to Quebec seniors. Amika employs more than 700 frontline staff providing personal support and companionship, including assistance with activities of daily living, respite care and live-in support.
This acquisition is highly complementary to Spectrum’s current operation in Quebec, Visavie, which provides professional retirement home transition services, offering seniors and their families a high-touch service to match them with the right retirement home for their needs. Combined, Amika and Visavie are positioned to deliver a unique and holistic service offering to Quebec seniors wherever they wish to age in place.
