Spectrum Patient Services (SPS), the non-urgent patient transportation division of Spectrum Health Care, is pleased to announce that it has successfully acquired Medical Transportation Services (MTS). MTS has been a trusted provider of patient transportation services in the Greater Toronto Area for over eight years. With this acquisition, SPS continues to be Ontario’s largest provider of non-urgent patient transfer services.
“SPS continuously strives to raise the standards of non-urgent patient transfer services. With the acquisition of MTS, we can continue fulfilling our vision of providing the best health care experience through the expansion of our fleet and employee base.” said Lori Lord, CEO of Spectrum Health Care, parent company of Spectrum Patient Services. “We are excited to welcome MTS’ highly skilled and qualified employees into the Spectrum family.”
MTS will be integrated and rebranded into Spectrum Patient Services and will continue to provide non-urgent patient transfer services to hospitals, retirement homes, long-term care/health care facilities and private residences through the Greater Toronto Area.
