Important message from our CEO, Lori Lord

This past Sunday Spectrum Patient Services and Spectrum Health Care employees were privileged to be part of one of Ontario’s largest hospital moves.

Spectrum was selected as the sole service provider to porter and transport patients from three Toronto hospitals into the new Humber River Hospital. Over 180 Spectrum employees worked together to ensure that over 350 patients were transported to their new hospital rooms in a seamless and caring manner.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the employees who took part in this instrumental move. Your enthusiasm coupled with professionalism was extraordinary to witness. Thank you for an outstanding job and for being excellent examples of Spectrum’s values.

The new Humber River Hospital, located near Wilson Avenue and Keele Street, is North America’s first fully digital hospital and is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment that will improve the lives of patients through the benefits of technology. It is an honour that Spectrum was able to be part of this important moment in health care history.
