How's your liver?

Spectrum Health Care and the Canadian Liver Foundation have teamed up to help you keep your largest internal organ in great shape!
March is Liver Health Month, and every Monday for the month of March we will be writing a special blog post geared at helping you learn more about your liver and liver disease.
The Canadian Liver Foundation has launched a March for Change campaign with three calls to action which challenge all Canadians to:
- Change your perception about the liver and liver disease.
- Change your lifestyle to help prevent liver disease.
- Change the future for the 1 in 10 Canadians with liver disease.
Check out our blog every Monday to learn more about each call to action, information regarding your liver and take part in Spectrum's call to action challenge each week!
Your liver does so much for you; it's time you did something for it!
About the Canadian Liver Foundation:
Founded in 1969 by a group of doctors and business leaders concerned about the increasing incidence of liver disease, the Canadian Liver Foundation (CLF) was the first organization in the world devoted to providing support for research and education into the causes, diagnoses, prevention and treatment of all liver disease. Throughout the Foundation's 40+ years, it has served as a model for similar organizations around the world.
Today, its focus remains virtually unchanged from those early days. Its mandate is to promote liver health and to reduce the incidence and impact of all liver disease. To achieve this goal, CFL works through its volunteer chapters across the country to improve public awareness and understanding of liver health and liver disease, raise funds for research and reach out to liver disease patients and their families.
