Everyday Heroes: Gina Mijares

At Spectrum our entire team of dedicated staff work together to ensure we provide the highest quality of care to our valued patients.

Our office staff work tirelessly to coordinate care schedules, answer questions from patients and families and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

At the height of the pandemic, when the entire health sector was experiencing resource challenges, our coordination staff made sure that our patients were scheduled to receive the care they needed. During extremely difficult times, our employees proved they are Everyday Heroes.

Gina Mijares is our Everyday Hero!

Gina is a nursing coordinator who works out of our Peel branch. Without fail Gina ensures her patients are scheduled for their care services. Even during an unprecedented snowstorm in January, Gina was in the office making sure that care was coordinated for her patients and that nurses were scheduled accordingly. Gina always does everything to the best of her ability.

Even under the most difficult circumstances, Gina always has a positive attitude. She does her best in stressful situations and always has a smile on her face. She is a ray of light who sends positive energy to patients, nurses and coworkers.
