Spectrum Health Care Acquires Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR) from Lifemark Health Group
Spectrum Health Care, a leader and an innovator in home health care, is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR), the largest provider of rehabilitation services in Durham Region, from Lifemark Health Group. This strategic acquisition adds an interdisciplinary team of close to 100 Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Dieticians to Spectrum’s growing Allied Health practice and extends the company’s operations into a key region in Ontario.
Established in 1997 and acquired by Lifemark in 2015, CAR is accredited by the International Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) signaling the company’s commitment to high quality service.
