Heart disease is the second leading cause of death among Canadians after cancer. As February is Heart Month, we wanted to spread the “love” by sharing these important facts about heart disease.

Heart disease is the #2 leading cause of death in Canada. 600,000 Canadians are living with heart failure. 50,000 Canadians are diagnosed with heart failure every year. 9 in 10 Canadians over the age of 20 have at least one risk factor for heart disease.
