Marguerite is our newest Employee of the Month!

Our December Seniors for Seniors Employee of the Month is Marguerite Sirmay.

Marguerite is a wonderful asset to Seniors for Seniors. She is always willing to put others before herself and she is always helpful, whenever possible.

We asked Marguerite to share about her experience working as a senior companion. Here is what she has to say.

1. How did you hear about Seniors For Seniors and why did you decide to join the company?

I heard about Seniors for Seniors from the YMCA while I was looking for work. I decided to apply because the job seemed like a great way to utilize my skills and keep me busy.

2. What is your favorite companion/caregiver experience or story?

My best experience is with my client Nan. I help make her meals which include breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also love helping her with her knitting. She knits hats for the homeless and the women’s shelter.

3. How has Seniors For Seniors benefited your clients?

Each client is unique and therefore I help them according to their needs .

4. How has being a Seniors For Seniors caregiver enriched your life?

I put myself in my clients' shoes which is very rewarding, my life is enriched when I can meet their special needs.
