At any stage of Alzheimer’s, those who are diagnosed require care and support from friends and family around them.

An important aspect of caring for individuals with this disease is the form of communication that is used. Communication with a person with Alzheimer's requires patience, understanding and good listening skills. They often have more difficulty expressing thoughts and emotions; and more trouble understanding others.
