Linda Barnes is our July Employee of the Month!

Meet Linda Barnes, our July Seniors for Seniors Employee of the Month. Linda was chosen because she is an excellent senior companion who is always willing to take on new shifts and help whenever she can. We have received nothing but great feedback from Linda's clients and their families. Here is what Linda has to share about being a senior companion:

1. How did you hear about Seniors for Seniors and why did you decide to join the company?

I was looking for opportunities to continue my work helping individuals in my community when I came across a Seniors for Seniors job posting. It sounded exactly like the type of work I was looking for - supporting individuals that need help.

2. What is your favourite companion/caregiver experience or story?

I have met many wonderful people in my work with Seniors for Seniors! I really enjoy hearing their life stories. Everyone has a unique story to share and I love hearing them.

3. How has Seniors for Seniors benefited your clients?

The clients I have require assistance, often with activities that they were once able to do themselves. I provide support with compassion and patience. I have clients who want companionship, which is rewarding for the both of us!

4. How has being a Seniors for Seniors caregiver enriched your life?

I enjoy working with Seniors for Seniors because I get to meet many people with great life stories to share. They are nice and very appreciative of the help.
