Lazina is our April Employee of the Month!

Seniors for Seniors chose Lazina Singh to be April’s Employee of the Month.

Lazina has been a dedicated senior companion with our organization since 2016. Lazina is very good at what she does, we get great feedback from her clients. Lazina is always willing to take on new clients.

Lazina recently shared about her experience being a senior companion:

1. How did you hear about Seniors for Seniors and why did you decide to join the company?

I joined the company many years ago through a program that was involved with community volunteer work. This was back in 2007 and it was a 6 months program. They loved the way I did my work and decided to hire me on. Ever since then I been working for Seniors for Seniors.

2. What is your favorite companion/caregiver experience or story?

I have many favourites, it’s hard to choose one experience. My client Earl is a very kind and funny person, he always makes me laugh during work. He makes work go by faster. Earl is a great client and I enjoy working for him.

3. How has Seniors for Seniors benefited your clients?

They get good service and companionship and I always make them feel comfortable and make them laugh. I enjoy interacting with them because I know they love to see a friendly face and kindness . I always make sure the work is satisfactory for them which is my first priority.

4. How has being Seniors for Seniors caregiver enriched your life?

I get to meet and talk to new people. I gain experienced working with seniors. I enjoy this work - the clients and the company are all wonderful. This is a very caring company. It’s hard to find a company like that. And our clients love this company too.
