This week we celebrate our nurses!

This week all across Canada we celebrate the contributions of nurses during National Nursing Week.

Nurses are key figures at the forefront of our health care system who play a significant role in home care.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our Spectrum Health Care nurses for their dedication to our patients and for exemplifying our values through quality nursing care. Your contributions are appreciated and valued by our patients, your fellow colleagues and the community.

The Toronto Star Nightingale Award is presented each year to an Ontario nurse nominated for recognition by their patients or peers. The recipient and honourable mentions of nominees are selected by a panel of representatives from the Toronto Star and Ontario's nursing associations.
