October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Do you know the signs and symptoms of breast cancer?

There may not be any signs or symptoms of breast cancer in its early stages but as the tumour grows larger, the signs and symptoms often start to appear. Later signs and symptoms happen as the cancer grows larger and spreads to other parts of the body.

Breast cancer warning signs. Symptoms: a firm or hard lump in the breast, a lump in the armpit, changes in the shape and size of breast, changes to the nipple, discharge/blood from the nipple. Late symptoms: double vision, muscle weakness, headache, nausea, cough, shortness of breath, jaundice, loss of appetite, weight loos, bone pain.
