Lori Lord, CEO of Spectrum Health Care (SHC) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, Leslie Sorensen, Director of Organizational Effectiveness will lead Spectrum Health Care’s new private palliative care program.

Leslie’s new title will be Managing Director, Palliative Care and Strategic Initiatives. In this role she will be responsible for building and growing Spectrum Health Care’s palliative program throughout Ontario while maintaining her focus on organizational effectiveness through the leadership of a number of corporate initiatives that align with Spectrum Health Care’s strategic priorities and will drive growth and innovation.

A Certified Healthcare Executive and Registered Occupational Therapist, Leslie has extensive expertise managing and consulting with a broad range of community and institutional health services spanning the public and private sectors including, COTA Health, the University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine, Med-Emerg Inc., Ontario’s Family Health Teams, the Ontario Medical Association, the Etobicoke and York Community Care Access Centres, Providence Healthcare, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and National Research Corporation Canada (NRCC).
